For more than 35 years, the New Jersey Association for Biomedical Research has helped research institutions, life-science organizations, and professional partners navigate the issues that shape responsible biomedical research. We provide informed advocacy, practical education, and a trusted forum for collaboration across New Jersey and beyond. We have allocated resources, both human and financial, to fulfill our mission in the following three priority areas:

the public to understand that humans and animals both benefit from scientific advances made through research and discovery

We Advocate

by actively engaging policy makers and carefully monitoring legislation, rules and policies, to help protect biomedical research

by leading efforts to cultivate strong relationships with our partners from state and national advocacy organizations

Advocacy

NJABR is not afraid to address the controversial issues that impact the research community and we advocate tirelessly to increase the understanding of the critical role and value of animal research. We advocate for continued access to all biomedical research models and to ensure New Jersey, and the country as a whole, become better places to conduct research.
