Bioscience Collaborative
A Coordinated Forum for Shared Bioscience Challenges
The NJABR Bioscience Collaborative brings participating organizations together around policy, communications, security, and public-engagement issues that can affect the broader life-science community. It gives members a structured way to compare information, identify emerging risks and coordinate thoughtful responses when appropriate.
What the Collaborative Supports
- Timely issue monitoring and cross-institution information sharing
- Coordinated strategy on legislative, regulatory and legal developments
- Communications planning and accurate public information
- Security awareness and discussion of emerging activist activity
The Collaborative is designed for organizations that need a trusted forum for shared situational awareness and practical coordination. Current member needs and the policy environment shape activities.
How the Collaborative Relates to NJABR
The Bioscience Collaborative builds on NJABR’s government affairs monitoring, partner network, and experience translating scientific and institutional issues for public audiences. It provides a more focused setting for participating organizations to discuss shared challenges while remaining connected to NJABR’s broader advocacy and education work.
Participation
NJABR discusses participation directly with prospective organizations so they can understand the Collaborative’s current priorities, expectations, and relationship to NJABR membership.
Organizations with responsibility for research policy, institutional communications, public affairs, security, or related risk management are encouraged to contact NJABR for an introductory conversation.
